Senior Technical Advisor on trade promotion & export development with forty years of professional management and business development experience in Southeast Asia - as corporate executive, as entrepreneur, and as international consultant in the private sector and then in technical assistance 'aid through trade' projects for international development.

From 2011 to 2022, as a consultant with the International Finance Corporation (IFC/WGB) across the Mekong region, providing technical advisory services on the development of sustainable, market driven, and  investible supply chains and the export promotion of valued agricultural commodities and specialties.

Since 2001, as an independent International Consultant for the EU and for UN organisations on private sector development across Asia and in Africa, gaining expertise in developing and implementing export strategies and capacity building of stakeholders in various industries.

Trade related socio-economic development experience includes biodiversity preservation, gender (economic empowerment), nutrition, poverty reduction, and environmental sustainability.

Socio-economic development through empowerment (the combination of freedom, opportunity and capacity to take strategic life decisions).

Familiar with the development needs and challenges of public and private sector agencies and enterprises, as well as with the interests & concerns of donors and project implementing partners.
